Online - Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation
Tuesday, January 1, 2030 (12:00 AM - 12:00 AM) (CST)
Description
About
America passed the Fair Housing Act more than fifty years ago.
But discrimination in real estate continues.
It's time to ask yourself: Am I a guide, or a gatekeeper?
The Simulation
In Fairhaven, you will work through scenarios simulating fair housing problems in real estate.
In each interaction with clients and colleagues, you will make decisions. The decisions you make will lead to different possible outcomes.
If you are struggling to apply the principles of fair housing, you will see additional scenarios to ensure you're meeting the learning objectives.
Throughout the experience, you will receive feedback and tips.
At the end of your experience, you will receive a performance report that summarizes each of your interactions and provides insight into your overall performance.
Score and Performance Report
Scenarios may have multiple outcomes. The decisions made by the learner will determine which outcome they view. Additional attempts to complete the simulation will overwrite the learner's previous attempt and potentially lead to different outcomes.
The learner may log out and log back in with their progress saved. When they log back in, they will be able to return to the beginning of the last scenario they were working through. The learner will select Continue from the home screen to pick up where they previously stopped.
Upon completion, the learner will receive a performance report with summaries describing the scenarios they completed. The summaries of each scenario will go into greater detail about specific actions they may wish to consider to improve their performance and continue to grow their business while adhering to fair housing principles and best practices.
